Show Idaho Pharmacist Buys Drug Store The Gunnison Drug company, established es-tablished some fourteen years ago, and for the past twelve years being operated by Jauventa Thorpe, passed into new hands last Saturday afternoon after-noon when W. L. Mclntyre, widely known throughout Idaho and North Dakota in business circles, purchased the stock and good-will. The price involved in-volved has, not been made public, but it is understool that a goodly sum was involved in the transaction. Mr. Mclntyre, who is accompanied by his wife, came to Gunnison Saturday Satur-day morning, and the same day the transfer was made and the new purchaser pur-chaser at once assumed charge of the business affairs., Mr. and Mrs. Mclntyre, who have been located at Twin Falls, Idaho, for the past twelve years, come to Gunnison highly recommended as business people and both will prove assets in a social way. Mr. Mclntyre is a registered pharmacist, having graduated from the Science school at Wahpeton, North . Dakota, with high honors. In addition to being in the drug business at Idaho Falls, he spent some twenty-two years in other parts of the Gem state following1 his profession. pro-fession. No radical changes will be made at present in the business, Mr. Mclntyre stated, but the usual high-class high-class line of drugs, sundries and sick room supplies will be carried. Miss Thorpe, who is retiring from the drug business, will take a much needed rest and will continue to make her home in this city for the present. |
