For the first four inning's in a league game played at E-phraim, between be-tween the latter and the "Gunners" from Gunnison, the Gunnison boys staged a marathon, and Pitcher Isaacson was at the mercy of the sluggers. In the second 6 men went over the home plate; in the third four men were scored and in the fourth two more were added to Gunnison's score. In fact, the surplus garner-continued garner-continued on last page) Gunners Lamblast Ephraim's Pitcher (Continued from page 1) j ed in the early part of the game did ni t require any effort and many of the "younger" players carried on. Vern Erickson, regular boxman for Gunnison, was in his usual form and held the hits of the opponents scattered. scat-tered. He did the pitching until the end of the sixth, and Ephraim was able to make only four runs. Wilford Bauer, a likely prospect for the pitching' pitch-ing' staff for Gunnison, played from the pitcher's box for three innings and made a remarkable showing. Gunnison's squad showed wonderful improvement over the previous game and the lads are "going" after the division honors. The score: GUNNISON. B. H. O. A.
