Show CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL. The ninth annual social event of the Treas Jouli club, held at the Wistaria Wis-taria cafe Thursday evening of last week, proved one of the greatest successes suc-cesses of the club. The event was staged by the lady members and the husbands were . special guests. Eighteen Eigh-teen were seated at one long dining table, elaborately decorated in a most novel way. An Esquimaux scheme was carried out and in the center was one large igloo, an Esquimaux home, and standing at the door of the home was a miniature Esquimaux, and each igloo was topped with small American Ameri-can flags. The same scheme was car-j ried out in place cards and the effect j was dec;dedly pleasing. The banquet! menu comprised turkey and all that i goes to make a real feast. Following j the festivities at the cafe the guests went to the home of Dr. and Mrs. J. A. Hagan, where bridge and solo were features for a few hours. Bridge winners were Mrs. Edd. Jensen and Mrs. J. A. Hagan. j |
