The boys, following a previous prev-ious defeat at the hand of Moroni, "perked" up a bit and took some new ideas into the game with the Mt. ! Pleasant boys, and put over a real victory. The game, according to the fans, was one of the fastest seen on the local floor this season, and the customers got plenty for their money. Tollestrup, playing forward, and Barlow, Bar-low, left guard, for Gunnison, were high score getters, each landing nine points. All the boys, however, got scores that counted. Anderson, right forward for Gunnison, Gun-nison, sustained a bad injury in the first part of the game, when he received re-ceived a cut on his chin. However, he played to the fin:sh and then an attending at-tending physician put two stitches in the wound to close the cut. Mickelson, center for North Sanpete, San-pete, was the star player for the i game, clouting out ten points and beating Tollestrup and Barlow by a lone point. ! The Wasatch academy quint will be j here Friday night for a iattle with i the Bulldogs at the high school gym- nasium. I he academy boys have been I "stepping" with the opening part of I the league play, and are "huddled" I with Moroni for first position in league standing.
