Show lf You Wish to Vote Register October 30 With the general election set for November 6th, it is imperative, impera-tive, if you wish to exercise your franchise, to register and have your name duly inscribed tn the registration books. The last day on which you can register is I Tuesday, October 30. Be sure your name is on the list. The fact that a comparatively small number have registered thus far indicates that they are of the opinion that their names are still on the list, by having voted last year, but they must register this year if they wish to t cast their ballot at the November 6, 1934, election. Many voters are still of the opinion that if they voted in the presidential election two years ago, their names still remain on the lists. This impression is entirely en-tirely erroneous, and attention is called to the fact that only those who voted a year ago, at the liquor election, are listed on the rolls. . Consequently, if you failed to exercise your franchise at the liquor election last year, you are not registered. Consult your registration lists in your respective voting precincts, and if you are not duly registered, see to it that your name is duly inscribed by not later than Tuesday, Tues-day, October 30. Mrs. Charlotte Villard, registrar regis-trar for the first voting precinct, and Mrs. Ann Beauregard, for the second voting precinct, will open the books Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock, and will keep them open until 9 o'clock in the evening. |
