Show COOPERATION DANCES PROVING BIG WINNERS The cooperative dancing parties, arranged ar-ranged between Gunnison and North Sevier, are proving a real service in bringing students and faculty in closer clos-er contact. Last Friday evening more than 100- students from the Gunnison Valley high school, accompanied by the first and second basketball teams, motored to Salina to attend the first event. In the ball games, Gunnison's first and second teams met defeat at the hand of the first and second teams of Salina. The dancing party which drew hundreds from both cities, as well as the surrounding communities, com-munities, proved the crowning feature. Tomorrow, Friday, students from North Sevier will be the guests of Gunnison high students. The visitors will give a program at 2 o'clock p. m. In the early evening the first and second teams of each school will stage fast games. The games will start promptly at 7. Following the tussle between the respective teams, a dancing party will be featured. Parents Par-ents and students of Salina, as well as those from Gunnison, arc invited to attend. |
