Show Basketball Fans Promised Thrills Lovers of basket ball are promised some real sport and some real playing play-ing with the organization of four strong teams of the "M" Men of the Gunnison stake. Gunnison, Mayfield, Centerfield and the Hamilton wards have lined up for the tournament, which will be played in two halves. The first half opened December 1st, when Gunnison battled with Mayfield, and Centerfield took a round with Hamilton. The second half will open January 13, and the contests will close February 17. At the close of the first half, in the event there is more than one team for the combat, the winners of the first half will have it out with-the winners of the second half. Stake Representative Payton Alexander, Alex-ander, and coach at the Gunnison Valley high school, who anticipates a close contest, has announced the schedule sche-dule as follows: FIRST HALF. December 1 Gunnison at Mayfield; Centerfield at Hamilton. December 8 Gunnison at Hamilton; Hamil-ton; Mayfield at Centerfield. December 15 Gunnison at Center-field; Center-field; Hamilton at Mayfield. December 22 Mayfield at Gunnison; Gunni-son; Hamilton at Centerfield. December 29 Centerfield at May-field; May-field; Hamilton at Gunnison. January 6 -Centerfield at Gunnison; Gunni-son; Mayfield at Hamilton. SECOND HALF. January 13 Centerfield at Hamilton; Hamil-ton; Gunnison at Mayfield. January 20 Mayfield at Center-field; Center-field; Gunnison at Hamilton. January 27 Hamilton at Mayfield; Gunnison at Centerfield. February 3 Hamilton at Center-field; Center-field; Mayfield at Gunnison. February 10 Centerfield at May-ifeld; May-ifeld; Hamilton at Gunnison. February 17 Mayfield at Hamilton; Hamil-ton; Centerfield at Gunnison. All the games must be played as scheduled, unless otherwise agreed upon by both teams. Centerfield Takes First.
