Show Dairy Covs in U. S. The number of dairy cows on farms in the United States in 1929 was 21,-8-19,000; in 1933, 25,136,000, an increase of about 14 per cent. Wisconsin leads all states in number, with 2,175,000. Other states running over 1,000,000 are : Minnesota, 1,742.000 ; Iowa, 1,503.-000 1,503.-000 ; New York, 1,438.000 ; Texas, 1,391,-000; 1,391,-000; Illinois, 1,111.000; Missouri, l,04o!-000. l,04o!-000. States above 500,000 and under 1,000,000, are: Ohio, 9G6.000 ; Pennsylvania, Penn-sylvania, 904,000; Kansas, S08.000 : Michigan, SG7,000 ; Indiana, 774,000; Oklahoma, 700,000; Nebraska, 714, 000; North Dakota, 054,000 ; California. 625,000; South Dakota, 619,000; Kentucky, Ken-tucky, 544,000; Tennessee, 527,000 Mississippi, 526,000.
