Show loving- Tribute For Oscar Beck Sorrowing friends par'd a loving tribute to Oscar Berglund Beck, the 15-year-old son of Mr. and -Mrs. A. A. Beck, when final rites were held Thursday afternoon of last week. Hundreds, knowing the high qualities, quali-ties, the sterling character and the happy disposition of the young man, tratn (red t.o oav their respects and to console- the deeply grieved parents and brothers and sisters. Services were held at the Center-field Center-field ward meeting house, and were conducted by Bishop C. A. Peterson. Following a vocal solo, "Cast Thy Bread Upon the Waters," by Mrs. Gilbert Fjeldsted, and a quartet selection, se-lection, "Sometime We'll Understand," Under-stand," by Mrs. Elton Sorenson, Mrs. Gordon Sorenson, Gilbert and Sidney Fjeldsted, invocation was offered by Alex C. Jensen. Besides the opening musical numbers, Mrs. J. E. Metcalf and Gilbert Fjeldsted gave as a duet "Will the Roses Bloom In Heaven"; vocal solo, "Going Home," Mrs. J. E. Metcalf, and a quartet selection, "My Father Knows," by Mrs. Bert Jensen, Jen-sen, Mrs. Gordon Sorenson, Gilbert nd' Sidney Fjeldsted. A poem, composed com-posed by Mrs. A. Barlow, was read by the author. Benediction was offered offer-ed by A Barlow. Among the speakers who eulogized eulogiz-ed the f'ne character and manhood of the boy who had been called in youth, were Royal Whitlock, Pres. Chas. S. Hansen and Bishop C. A. Peterson. Burial services were at the Center-field Center-field cemetery, where the dedicatory j ceremonies were conducted by Chas., F Emblev.
