Show Fate of Corn-Hog Plan to Be Tested The future of the corn-hog adjust- ' ment program under the AAA will bn decided definitely on October 20, 1935, when the hog growers in Sanpete county, as well as the rest of the United States, will cast secret ballots bal-lots voting yes or no as to whether or not the corn-hog program will be carried on. Definite arrangements have been made for the corn-hog election in Sanpete county, according to information infor-mation received from Jesse L. Bartholomew, Bar-tholomew, chairman of the Sanpete County Corn-IIog associat'on, and voting places will bo ojened in the various communities on October 20, from 8 a. m. to 10 p. m., accxrding to the following schedule: Gunnison, Centerfield, Axlell and Fayette, Gunnison City hall, S. R. Voorhees in charge. Fountain Green, N. E. Mikkelson's homo. Chester, Moroni and Wale9, Hugh Stiingham's home, Moroni. Indianola, Milburn and Fairview, N. Teter Nielson's home, Fairview. Mt. Pleasant, Thomas W. Jensen'), home, Mt. Pleasant. Spring City, Ilulon Strate's garage, gar-age, M. R. Strate in charge. Ephraim, W. E. Thorpe's hom. Manti, Gerald Alder's home. Mnyfield and Sterling, Jesse L. Bartholomew's home, Mayfield. Every hog grower in Sanpete county coun-ty is eligible to' vote and is urged to do so on this date. |
