Show Big Time Planned For "Honor Day" Members of the seven wards of the Gunnison stake are making great plans for "Stake Honor Day," which will ba held at the Gunnison Valley high school tomorrow, Friday, afternoon after-noon and evening. The entertainments will consist of contests in drama, singing, oratory and dancing, and it is expected a group will represent each ward. Beginning at three o'clock contests will be held in public speaking, speak-ing, retold stories and music. During the evening session, which starts promptly at 6:45, three wards will compete in drama work. Each ward will present a one-act play, and it is said a real treat awaits those attending. attend-ing. The three dramas carry the titles of "Florist Shop," "Toombs," and "I i Secret Places." Several will enter the dance contest, which will be the "Spanish Tango." Mrs. Reed Thorpe and Mrs. W. H. Johnson, of Salina, have been chosen as judges of the contests. The stunts will be lively and each ward will go after the laurels. Winners at Friday's contests, with the exception of the musical entrants, will go to Richfield April 25, to attend at-tend the sectional meeting and qualify Tor the grand finals to be held at Salt Lake in June.
