Show I Summer Course for All Coaches HELTERED ty awnings spread over the stands on historic Illinois S field, more than 200 coaches will listen to the lore of athletics as g 8 J expounded by University of Illinois coaches during the annual g a summer course for coaches which will be held June 17 to Jnly 27. g S Tliis will be the sixteenth summer course which was first given at g 3 Illinois in 1914 when It was a pioneer. Now there are numerous courses S but Illinois' remains one of the favorites with the coaches who desire 8 j to amplify their knowledge. 8 The course will afford an opportunity for a comprehensive review Q jj of four of the most popular competitive sports and the most prominent physical education subjects. ? Milt Olander, assistant coach and chief scout, will teach football, a g course which will be of unusual Interest on account of Illinois' feat in 3 winning the Big Ten championship for the past two years. 8 I Track will be taught by Harry Gill, veteran molder of championship champion-ship teams, assisted by Chick Wer- ner, freshman coach ; baseball by 1 Carl Lundgren, who la also di- 1 rector of the course, and basket 1 ball by Craig Ruby. D. M. Bullock varsity trainer, will expound his I secrets. Physical education courses 1 will, be as follows: Calisthenics, gymnastics and 1 recreation, S. C. Staley, C. J. Wag I ner and Raymond Eleidloff; medi- cal gymnasts and physical dlag- nosis, George T. Stafford ; swim- 1 tiling, H. C. Paterson ; psychology and athletics. Dr. Coleman R. Grif S fith.
