The marriage of Miss Laura Funk to Levern - Sorenson at the Manti temple Wednesday of last week, was one of the social events at Center-field. Center-field. Following the marriage ceremony cere-mony a wedding supper was served at the home of the bride'3 parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Funk. Only immediate im-mediate members of the two families fam-ilies and a few invited guests attended at-tended the reception. The new-lyweds new-lyweds were the recipients of many beautiful and useful presents. Mr. and Mrs. Sorenson are well and popularly pop-ularly known in the younger set of Centerfield and they have hosts of warm friends who will wish them happiness and prosperity on their matrimonial voyage. Extensive plans were made for the season's work and all members are looking forward to a more active year than ever before. Embley, motored to' Ephraim Thursday Thurs-day night of last week and visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Willardson. ' B. F. Duff in of Salt Lake, and who was enroute to southern points, made a brief visit to Chas. H. Embley Emb-ley Monday. . Mrs. B. R. Jensen, who is a patient pa-tient at the Holy Cross hospital, Salt Lake, is reported to be progressing splendidly. Mrs. Jensen underwent four different operations, the last being performed Friday. Miss Erma Barlow of this city, was taken to a Salt Lake hospital last week and Friday she underwent under-went an operation for appendicitis. She is reported to be recovering nicely. nice-ly. .
