Show funk Decendanls Organize Society Palisade park was the. scene of tin important gathering Monday, and incidentally in-cidentally the organization of the Funk Surname society was affecte.-J. Some 100 descendants of Daniel B. Funk, one of the early pioneers tit Utah, and from many parts of Utah, joined in the festivities and they will go down in history as a mcmorabte event with the Funk descendants. Officers Of-ficers for the new organization wcro named and are Jessie Funk, Sterling, president; George Funk, Hiawatha, vice-president; Daniel Bradley, Sterling, Sterl-ing, secretary-treasurer. Committees were named and includo a finance, program, genealogical, temple and meeting place. The namrs of the vori-ous vori-ous committees could not be learned at th's time. The Funk .Surname organisation or-ganisation will meet annually, dates gpt for June 24 and 25 of iCi year.
