Show FINAL CONTRACTS SIGNED IN DRAINAGE OBLIGATION Ira Overfelt, president, E. H. Bard-sley, Bard-sley, secretary, Hans C. Olsen and John W. Nielson, members of - the landowners committee of the Sanpete Drainage District No. 1, went to Salt Lake Friday, where final signatures were made on the contract of settlement settle-ment with the Bondholders Protective committee of St. Louis, which was represented by J. F. Quigg, secretary of the Mississippi .Valley, company, and O. P. Seule, Salt Lake attorney, representing the St. Louis concern. . Last week at a meeting of the bonding company's committee and a committee from the drainage company, com-pany, a two-day session was held which resulted in a final settlement of the $93,000 obligation held by the bonding committee and the drainage officers, on a basis of $33,651.75, or approximately 81 per cent of the debt of the Sanpete Drainage district. Practically a year has been allowed J the drainage district to meet the balance bal-ance of the payments. |
