Show Students Boost "Carrot" County Sanpete students now attending the University of Utah have organized organ-ized a Sanpete club, and on the 11th of November a suitable constitution was adopted by those present at a j meeting held for ratification. The ' purpose of the club is to foster a ! more intimate acquaintance and ! friendship among the students at- j tending from Sanpete, and to create an interest in the University and its ; activities among prospective stu- j dents from the "Carrot" county. j The following officers were elect-1 ed: President, Clifford G. Ed-i munds, Wales; vice-president, Miss El Rasmus sen, Mt. Pleasant; secre-1 tary and treasurer, Glen R. Dorius, ' Ephraim; reporter, Karl O. Nielson, Ephraim. A council composed of a delegate from each town in the county represented at the University Univer-sity was chosen as follows: John B. Blackham, Moroni; Miss Ruth Anderson, An-derson, Ft. Green; Laul K. Edmunds, Wales; Fred Woolley, Manti; Ferdinand Ferdi-nand E. Peterson, Ephraim; Miss Alice Christensen, Fairview; Miss Helen Watson, Spring City; Miss Bernice Madsen, Mt. Pleasant; C. Kearnes Ferre, Gunnison; Miss Esther Es-ther Lund, Centerfield. The president presi-dent of the club presides over the council. The club hopes to put San-pete San-pete -county and her students at the University map in a big way. I A large crowd was in attendance at j the party. Dancing, cards and billiards bil-liards were enjoyed during the . evening, ev-ening, followed by refreshments. :. Sanpete's students are very active in school activities at the University. Univer-sity. -.In the school play, "The Intimate Inti-mate ' Strangers," presented by the ' University of Utah Dramatic club at the Salt Lake theatre .
