Some went to the lake in Fisher Canyon and others spent the day at the Rosette school house. Everyone had a fine time, except three voune men who went to Rosette; two on horseback and one in a cart. The two horsebackers fell off between J. Campbells' and J. A. Ruleighs';probably sunstrm k, or daughterstruck. Tlie cart man broke down and was spilled out near S. Callahan's plare. None j were so badly hurt but what they J could flirt with the girls of Duff ! Creek, except the one who as very quiet, because . A lively party was given in the evening. The musicians were, F. ; Zaugg, E. C. Wainright. T. Grove land W. Meeham. If it wasn't for the awfully tantalising glare of : the cold type we would tell smiie- thing funny on A. C. and E.
