Show Duration ot Infection Stages. Tlio duration of the infection stages of various diseases is thus givn by Dr. T. F. Pearse, an English physician. Measles from tho second day of the disease, for three weeks; smallpox from the first day, for four weeks; scarlet fever from tho fourth day, for t.evcn weeks; mumps from tho second day, for three weeks; diphtheria from the first day, for three weeks.
