Show The Evil of Chewing Cloves. When I smell cloves on a man's breath my first thought is, "That man is a fool." He thinks he is concealing tho smell of whisky or some other vile smell, and ho is only advertising it. There is another reason also why he is a fool. The oil of cloves, which is expressed from them by chewing them, is an tictivo Bolvent of the enamel of the teeth. Any one who chews cloves will soon notice that it makes the teeth tender. That means that their enamel is disappearing, and the next step is a mouthful of decayed teeth, which all the odors of Araby the blest can never sweeten. When will people learn that the sweetest and rarest smell of all is no smell at ail? Chicago Journal. |
