Show Mrs. Ben Andrews and daughter, Norma, spent yesterday in Gunnison, visiting- at the home of Mrs. Fletcher Peterson. Mr. and Mm. Hugh Kearns and children of Cedar City, spent Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday in Gunnison visiting visit-ing with relatives and friends. A. Madsen. Rulon, with friends, made a trip to the mountains moun-tains in search of a buck deer ,and failing in getting a prize he declared declar-ed he would have to content himself with eating just plain beefsteak. The J. A. Hagan home wa sthe scene of much merriment Thursday afternoon of last week when Mrs. Hagan charmingly entertained for twelve members of the Treas Joulli club. Fall flowers were used for decorations and created a pleasing effect. The afternoon was devoted to needlecraft .following which delicious refreshments were served.. Gi-inison. Thus far Miss Hollan has met with splendid success and her patrons were highjy pleased. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thompson's home was brightened last Saturday evening with the arrival of a bright baby gul. All are doing nicely at the Thompson home. M.S. De!i Hofheinp is here from her home- in Nevada, and is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jule Erickson. Mr. and Mis. F. II. Jones will spend I'-iday at Salt Lake City, where they will meet H. W. Schnell, a brother-in-law to Mr. Jones. I Mr. and Mrs. Royal Madsen are (receiving congratulations over the arrival of a fine baby girl, born to them last Friday morning. It is the 1 first little lady to take up her perm-, perm-, ar.ent residence at the Madsen home, i and naturally the parents are su-; su-; premely happy. All are doing nicely at tbe Madsen home, according to rc-i rc-i ports. I A gaby girl was bom to Mr. and I Mrs. Mori Tuesday evening. The ' Mori's reside in the Japanese colony I at Westview, and it is reported that 1 the birth of the baby was the sginal for rejoicing among the Japencse. Mrs. Mori and her daughter are said 'to be doing nicely. |
