Show Dusty Highway Is Cause of Accident Leo Anderson, son of Nephi Anderson, An-derson, had a close call from serious injury Sunday night, when he was run down by an automobile and sustained sus-tained bad bruises. Anderson's left leg was badly bruised and he sustained sustain-ed a 'deep gash in his head. After a visit to the doctors, Ix:o was able to go to his home, and it is said he is fast improving, now being able to be up and around. The accident happened in front of the Nephi Anderson home and at late duslc. Leo was riding to his home with Marlin Willardson and just as he stepped from the car, the automobile auto-mobile driven by Emil Rosenvall came by and bumped into Anderson. Ander-son. In the meantime the Willardson car had been started and in falling Anderson fell heavily to the ground as a result of the impact of the Rosenvall Ros-envall car and the wheels of the Willardson car passed over his leg, inflicting the leg and head wounds. No particular blame has been attached at-tached to either driver, as the dust filled air made it almost impossible to see ahead. And here, it might be added that the highway from the pavement to the south city limits if sprinkled once or twice a day, would aid much in preventing accidents. During the evening and at the time the working crews of the factory are ' leaving after a day's work, the road is literally covered with cars, beet I wagons and o'.her vehicles, and there i is a real danger due to the flying' dust, which cannot be penetrated with the eye for but a short distance. ' Centcrfield has its sprinkler out every day and traveling conditions are much better along that route. ! i |
