Show Asks Charges Against Bryan Lincoln, Neb. George E. Johnson, secretary of the Nebraska state department de-partment of public works, asked the state attorney general to file charges of violation of the corrupt practices act against Charles W. Bryan, former for-mer governor of Nebraska and Democratic Demo-cratic vice presidential candidate in 1924 in connection with Bryan's campaign cam-paign for. governor. Johnson asked that charges of violating the state budget law and forcing a deficit, misuse mis-use of funds received from the federal feder-al government and misuse of the state revolving fund be preferred against Bryan. Bryan is on a speaking tour at present. |
