Show ing extremely popular and hundreds! flock to the park each Sunday to enjoy en-joy .'an outing and hear the splendid' music. These concerts are arrang-1 ed ty the management of the Pali-' ade and are free to the patrons. Next Wednesday there will be a big; carnival -dance confetti, horns and ballons and a great time for all. The celebration of the Fourth of July, Saturday of next week, will mark one of the big days at the resort. re-sort. The management has announc ed that no programs during the day will be held that will interfere with programs held in the cities throughout through-out the county. The cool shade and the. gentle breezes will invite those who wish to spend the day quietly. A mammoth dance at night will be held and a stupendous display of fire works that will brighten up the heavens hea-vens Something new and awe inspiring in-spiring and free to the public. HERE FOR FISHING TRIP Carl J. Malmsten, who is interest-, ed in some twenty-six J. C. Penney stores and formerly manager of the Richfield store for the nation-wide institution, accompanied by his boys, Robert and Mack, came in from 'Fremont, 'Fre-mont, Neb., Tuesday and spent a few hours here visiting with T. H. Grem-sgrard, Grem-sgrard, manager for the Gunnison store. Mr. Malmsten is on his annual an-nual vacation trip to Fish Lake whei he will spend two weeks or more angling ang-ling for the festive beauties. He owns a lodge at the famous resort and notwithstanding the' fact (that he motored several hundred miles he declared it worth it and proclaimed Fish' Lake the greatest place in the west to catch big trout. |
