Show Cljnretten for Parlnlnnt. When Parisian ladies smoke, they use deliciously scented cigarettes tinctured with roses, carnations or heliotrope. A French journalist has recently visited the great establishments where cigarettes aro manufactured for fashlouable women exclusively. The most expensive kind made unites the fragrance of delicate flowers with a soupcon of opium. Th journalist being evidently a woman scolds tho Parisian belles for debasing themselves them-selves to the level of the brute creation , man ond warns them that they are ruining their teeth aud contracting th boudage of the opium habit. The aoup-con aoup-con of tho Chinese drug should be left out, of course; .but it might not be a bad Idea to encourage effeminate youth of the masculine sort to ' smoke these ladles' cigarettes.- Heliotrope, carnation or rose perfume might do something toward fumigating the smell pf burnt paper which now pervades the atmosphere of streets and parlors.
