Show Tlit Marble No ttoorl. Some time ago a superior quality of marble was reported as having been discovered in vast quantities a few miles north of Brigham. A sample left at The Bugler office was given J. H. Bott, the marble engraver, to test. He found it entirely en-tirely too hard and too much impregnated im-pregnated with granite to be of any great value. It was really so hard that in chiselling it would crack deep and even turn the edge of his tools. Mr. Bott declared that a finer grade of marbel can be laid down from Chicago and finished for from 50 to 75 cents a foot cheaper than this home rock can be worked, we are sorry to say. |
