Show Vocational Class On Tour of State Fifteen boys, students of Ithe agricultural ag-ricultural vocational work of tho Gunnison valley, accompanied by I. L. Henrie, supervisor, and riding in a. big truck, started last Monday morning for a trip through the northern parlt of the state. The j-cr-sonnel of the party includes C ive Despain, Ellis Crowthcr, Robert Gledhill, Lloyd Olsen, Bert Jensen, Kcrmit Sorenson, Lawrence Jensen, Eldon Jensen, Ivan Frandsen, Edgar Nielson, Duane Anderson, Virgil Christensen, Arnold Larson, Nolan Edwards and Newell Childs. Provisions Pro-visions and bedding were carried by the boys and in addition to soeing many interesting features they will enjoy camp life on the trip. The boys will be absent a week and during their trip they will visit many interesting points. Three uni- versities will be visited, and in addition ad-dition to this many of the big farms in the northern part of the state, and where dairying is carried on in a gigantic scale, will be one of the interesting in-teresting sights for the lads. Industrial In-dustrial points in and around Salt Lake and Ogden will be inspected and returning Utah county farms and factories will be inspected. This is the first trip for the boys of ithe class and it is proposed to make it an annual feature. |
