Show Local Delegates To Attend Provo Meet The Gunnison Business and Professional Pro-fessional Women's club will be represented rep-resented at the stalte convention which is to be held at Aspen Grove, Provo, next Saturday and Sunday, according to the announcement made by members of the local club. Mrs. Charlotte- Villard, presideenlt of the Gunnison club, Mrs. H. W. Cherry, recording secretary, and Mi-s. S. M. Duggins, and possibly others, will attend at-tend the convention. Elaborate plans have been made by I the Provo club for the entertainment of ithe delegates and a big crowd is expected to participate in the deliberations. delib-erations. Invitations have been sent to all the clubs in the state by Miss Grace Cheever, general chairman of 'the convention . The general program, as announced, announc-ed, will include original songs from the' different clubs, stunts around a 1 huge bon-fire, and speakers of national na-tional Tepute, hikes and many outdoor out-door activities. An informal reception recep-tion will mark the opening of the convention, which will be held aft the Elks club at Provo. The reception will start at one o'clock and will conclude con-clude at four, following which the delegates will be taken to points of interest in and around Provo. Latter the crowds will move to Aspen Grove . where the program will be continued. 1 State officers are planning a big( time and at the conclusion of the i convention it is certain that the clubs j throughout Utah will be greatly benefited and that renewed energy! will be much in evidence in carrying out the plans of the various organizations. |
