The Third ward stockholders of the Co-op are negotiating for the woolen factory in exchange for stock in the mercantile establishment. establish-ment. The factory is estimated to be worth between $15,000 and $20,000. If it is secured by these people, peo-ple, the machinery now lying idle in the building will be used for the present to turn out blankets, linsey, yarn, woolen batting, and all kinds of custom work could be done. This would furnish employment for a number of people. It is to be hoped that some one will soon take this factory in hand, even if it is . started on a small scale at first. Situated in tho very center of a great wool country, an industry of this kind should flourish above all others.
