Show CENTERFIELD NEWS ITEMS Mrs. Leo Beck of Los Angeles, Miss Levada Westover and Mrs. Agnes Ag-nes Westover, of Palm Dale, Calif., are in Centerfield for a brief visit. The visitors went to Salt Lake to attend at-tend the M. I. A. conference and before be-fore returning to the coast will visit here for a while. Mrs. Agnes West-over West-over is the daughter of Archie Sor- - enson oi uunnison. Miss Lavona Beck, who is doing missionary work for the Mormon church at Louisville, Ky., underwent an operation last Saturday for an acute attack of appendicitis. Her many friends here will be glad to know that she stood the ordeal fine and is now on the road to recovery. The Misses Maxine and Elaine Sanders have returned from a two-weeks' two-weeks' visit with relatives at Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Olsen left for Idaho Falls, Idaho, Tuesday of this week. They expect to make that city their honie. The Scandinavian meeting held at the home of Peter Rasmussen last Sunday was well attended, a goodly number coming from Manti. Songs, talks, and refreshments were the enjoyable1 en-joyable1 features. |
