Show DEAN ANDERSON HOME BURNS AT MAYFIELD Fire, supposed to have started from a defective flue, destroyed the two-room house of Dean Anderson at Mayfield early Tuesday morning of this week, entailing a loss estimated to be between $500 and $600. There was no insurance on either the building or furniture. The Andersons were at breakfast at seven-thirty and the first intimation intima-tion of the fire was the discovery of the roof being ablaze, and due to the rapid progress of the fire only a few articles of furniture were saved. The building was located out of town and there was no water available to quench the flames and the building was burnedi to the ground. |
