From here he will go to Millard county. Al Frandsen of Clarion, motored to Ephraim Tuesday afternoon and was looking after some business interests in-terests and renewing acquaintances with friends at the College city. W. H. Henager, president of the State Beekeepers association, accompanied accomp-anied by Mrs. Henager of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Hobbs of Nephi, were guests at the howe of Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Malmgren at Center-field Center-field last Sunday. Miss Lizzie Jensen of Centerfield, has gone to Salt Lake City,, where she expects to remain permanently with her daughters, who are residing there. Prior to her leaving Mrs. Jensen Jen-sen was given two farewell parties. The Relief Society and the auxiliary organizations of the L. D. S. church entertainer for her and both functions were well attended. W. M. Wilson, the Portland Cement association representative, was here yesterday, on his way to southern parts. He is out in the interests of his company. I LOCAL ITEMS I OF INTEREST L. J. Nielson, a farmer Gunnison lCMdent, but 'who is now located at Castltgate, was here last Saturday on a combined business and pleasure trip. Mrs. Will Gribble spent yesterday visiting with friends at Salina. Mrs. Hannah Jepson, who has been absent at Santaquin for several months, mon-ths, was in the city several days vis- king with :elatives and looking after her business interests. She returned to Santaquin Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson have ictuined from a trip to northern points. They visited with their daughter, daugh-ter, Hazel Anderson, a student at the B. Y. University at Provo, latter going to Salt Lake City. A. Barlow, who has- been residing at Provo for the past six months, has returned to the valley and will make his home at Centerfield. Yesterday he motored to Provo and will bring his family with him. Mrs. John S. Peterson accompanied her daughter, Mrs. L. G. Anderson, to Panguitch last Sunday. Mrs. Peterson Peter-son expects to be absent a week or ten days. Seymore Tassie and Berdella Edwards Ed-wards entertained for some eighteen friends at a dancing party at the Wistaria Wis-taria last Saturday evening. Dancing-was Dancing-was enjoyed until a late hour when dainty refreshments were served. Mrs. L. G. Anderson and he'fl children, child-ren, left for Panguitch last Sunday morning. They will join Mr. Anderson at the Garfield metropolis and expect ex-pect to make Panguitch their permanent perman-ent home. L. G. Anderson, formerly of this city, has a lucrative position |
