Show Indian Buries Child Alive; Arrested Pueblo, Colo. The love of a Ute Indian for his bride, which caused him to bury his 17-day-old baby alive in the grave of its mother, believing that such a ceremony would bring his mate back to life, will bring Piatt Nae stalw-art member of the Ute tribe face to face with the white man's law here when he will stand trial in federal court for murder. It will be the second sec-ond instance in recent weeks wherein where-in the government tries an Indian for murder. Recently George Dixon Sujynamie, a Walapai Indian, was executed ex-ecuted by the federal government in Arizona for murder. |
