An expenditure of $44,000 for rebuilding and rerouting all telephone tele-phone lines on the east side of Provo has been authorized by officials of the Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph company. Provo. Work on the new Alpine scenic highway, which connects American Fork and Provo, via their canyons, is well under way, and by early next week the round trip can be made without difficulty.
