Show Manager Norman Has An Assistant Ordinarily when one's sleep is disturbed dis-turbed in the real early hours of the morning, the disturbed is peevish and carries a grouch for a long time. There are times, however, when the joy of being awakened 13 long lasting last-ing and pleasing. Ronald C. Norman, Nor-man, manager of the J. C. Penney company store in Gunnison, is of the latter type, particularly in one instance. in-stance. Early last Saturday he was rudely awakened at one o'clock and instructed to hasten to Salina. Stude-baker Stude-baker and Nash cars have been making mak-ing records between. Salt Lake and Fish Lake but neither had anything over Norman's Dodge in making the trip to the Salina hospital. Mr. Norman Nor-man was appraised of the fact that Mrs. Norman gave birth to a bouncing bounc-ing baby boy early Saturday morning morn-ing hence all the hurry. Ronald Clyde Norman, is the young man's name and he tipped the scales at exactly seven and a half pounds. Mrs. Norman, her many friends in Gunnison will be glad to know is doing do-ing splendidly, while the little baby bov is keeping the same pace. Man- ager Norman, sad to relate, is somewhat some-what "up in the air," and steps fast and lively, and declares the Junior Norman is " the finest in the land." |
