Show Gunnison Plans For Big Reunion Already the old folks of Gunnison i are planning and making arrange-! arrange-! ments to be present at the Annual Old Folks Reunion which will be held 'at the R. S. Hall, Gunnison, next Thursday, February 24. This event is always a memorable one and this year's event promises to be the best ever extended to the old folks cf the icily. The several committees having, arrangements In charge are putting forth every effort to make the occasion occa-sion one long to be remembered ana nothing wili be left undone to make this year's meeting the best ever. The age limit for youth has been placed at 60 years and all having this record and over will be the honored guests of the citizens and the committees com-mittees in charge. The festivities will start , at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon and there will be "something doing" until late at night. Promptly at 1 o'clock the banquet will be started and continue until all are "happily filled.1' Following Fol-lowing the banquet there will be an interesting program of song, music and speechmaking. For the evening a big dance has been planned and all the old folks will be the free guests of the committees. commit-tees. Those not coming within the age limit will be welcome but a charge will be made for them. During Dur-ing the evening refreshments will be served. In as much, as there will be .100 or more of the older folks to care for the committee' has asked that friends and relatives lend every aid fn assisting the committee in getting get-ting all the guests to the hall. Following is a tentative, program for the opening of the festivities: . Singing; invocation; song; address of welcome; address to old folks, vocal vo-cal solo; reading; vocal solo; reading; read-ing; instrudental music; music by quartet;- benediction.' |
