Show Presbyterians To Meet In Gunnison Friday, April 7, will be a memorable mem-orable day for the Presbyterians of Gunnison and community when the ladies of the Presbyterial of Southern South-ern Utah will come from all parts of southern Utah to enjoy the meetings to be held in this city. Among the speakers of the Presbyterial will be Rev. Weston T. Johnson, D.D., of San Francisco, Cal. Dr. Johnson is secretary secre-tary of the board of foreign missions ob the Presbyterian church in the United States of America for the western district. Other speakers will be Mrs. Eveline Browne Keck of San Francisco, who is the secretary for the woman's board of foreign missions mis-sions of the Presbyterian church, and Mrs. Adelaide L. Aldrich of New York city, one of the traveling secretaries secre-taries of the woman's board of home missions of the same denomination. The services will be held at the Presbyterian chapel and will begin at 10 o'clock in the morning. A meeting will also be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and one at 8 o'clock at night. Members of the local society so-ciety will furnish special music for the occasion and the Light Bearers band, comprising the junior members mem-bers of the society, will give a number num-ber of songs at the different meetings. meet-ings. A general invitation is extended to the public to attend the meeting, and to meet and hear, the visitors who will be here. |
