Show CENTERFIELD NEWS ITEMS. x V- X- The holidays in Centerfield have been highly enjoyable and attractjve to both old and young and the dances, programs and other amusements were truly characteristic of the yule-tide yule-tide season. The picture shows at the Kinema and the radio at the meeting house were drawing features. , Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bardsley passed their fiftieth anniversary of wedded life, Saturday, December 30, and to celebrate the event they entertained en-tertained some thirty friends gathered gather-ed to celebrate the golden event. At two o'clock a sumptious dinner was served and an enjoyable time had by the visitors and honored guests. Mr. and Mrs. Bardsley were shomered with congratulations. Mr. and Sirs. John Hansen and baby, returned to their home at Delta, Del-ta, New Year's day.. They had been here for ten days visiting with relatives rela-tives and friends. Miss Minerava Jensen, who spent the holidays visiting with her mother has returned to Morgan where she has resumed teaching. Elial Jensen, who is employed in California, was here to visit his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Jensen. Mr. Jensen returned to the coast Monday of this week. Mrs. C. II. Embley tendered a splen did dinner to some of her children and grandchildren New Years day. Mr. and Mrs. Weston Funk, with Mrs. John Anderson and Master Carl Poulson of Sterling were among the number present. I Dr. R. C. Swalberg of Marysvale, has removed his family to Centerfield j for the winter, and they are now liv-ing liv-ing at the home of C. H. Christian-1 sen. ! J. II. Christiansen, who has been j absent at Salt Lake for several j months past, has returned to his ; home in Centerfield. 1 |
