Show BIG FRY PLANTED Four cans of fish, approximately some 20,000 in all, were planted in Twelve Mile canyon last Thursday evening by members of the Gunnison Gunni-son Valley Fish & Game Protective association. The "fry" were of the native' variety and came direct from the Spring'ville hatchery, being forwarded for-warded at the orders of County Game Warden Poulson of Mt. Pleasant. The fish were distributed in Clear Creek, Beaver and in the main creek below and in the right and left hand forks. Plans are being made to make additional plants this fall and the sportsmen anticipate that within a year or so Twelve Mile canyon will be the mecca for the fishermen. |
