Show SANPETE COUNTY ' EXTENSION NEWS. COUNTY AGENT LEADER IN TOWN: This week, W. W. Owens, County Agent Stott working on a C, spent a day in the county with County Agent Stoot working on a number of problems. POULTRY CULLING DEMONSTRATIONS DEMON-STRATIONS TO BE HELD NEXT WEEK: Next week Prof. Byron Alder, poultry specialist of the U. A. C, and the county agent will conduct con-duct a number of poultry culling demonstrations throughout the county. coun-ty. They will be held in the following follow-ing places: Centerfield, Chester, Fairview, Wales, Gunnison and Fayette. Fay-ette. It is urged that all poultrymen be present at these demonstrations as it has been proven that poultry culling is very profitable to the poultry poul-try raiser, and this time of the year is the best time to cull flocks. BOYS PIG CLUB WINNERS TO BE SELECTED: On September 4th and 6th, Dr. Carroll, head of the animal husbandry department of the U. A. C, will be in Spring City and Centerfield respectively to help select se-lect the winner in the two boys pig clubs. He will be at Spring City, September 4th at 3 o'clock P. M. and in Centerfield, Sept 6th at 9 o'clock A. M. The boys should all bring their pigs to some central place, which will be announced by the club leaders, and then Dr. Carroll will pick out the winners. The winners will probably receive their awards that day. Everyone is invited to attend at-tend the contests. CLOSER RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BE-TWEEN FOREST SERVICE AND EXTENSION SERVICE BEING WORKED ON: Last week W. A. Lloyd of the State's Relation Service Serv-ice spent two days .at the Great j Basin Experiment Station in Eph-raih Eph-raih Canyon and with W. W. Owens, i county agent leader, they worked on j a plan to get closer relationship be-; be-; tween the Forest Service and the Ex-' Ex-' tension Service.
