Show Fayette News (Special Correspondence.) Fayette, Nov. 10. The beet har-. har-. vest, which has been in full blast here for the past month, has been finished and the growers are rejoicing over the fact that the work was completed complet-ed before the bad weather started. The crop in this section was unusually unusual-ly large this year. Eldon Bartholomew of Manti, returned re-turned home Tuesday after spending a month here helping to harvest the beet crop. Mrs. Jess Bartholomew and child ren spent the week-end in Manti visiting vis-iting with Mrs. Bartholmew's parents.' The Mutuals of Fayette have started start-ed the winter work and the young ladies have effected a reorganization with Flossie Mellor as president ana Ella Bown and Olive Anderson as counselors. Robert Reid, of Provo, is in Fayette Fay-ette and is the guest of his brother, Harry Reid. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bartholomew and children and Will Bartholomew, have moved down from Fait Canyon and will spend the winter in Fayette. Quite a number from here attended the conference at Ephraim last Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday. Principal Moss of the Payette schools, haa a brother from Salt Lake visiting with him. |
