The grain markets had a heavy undertone during the week and prices declined drastically until the last two days when thero was more firmness and prices advanced slightly. Immense stocks of Canadian Cana-dian wheat, slow milling, flour and export demand, and the shutting down of several Minneapolis millu were depressing influences. Closing prices in Chicago cash market: No. 2 red winter wheat, $1.14; No. 2 hard winter wheat, $1.01; No. 2 mixed corn, 47c; No. 2 yellow corn, 7c; No. 3 white oats, 32c. For the week Chicago December wheat declined de-clined 7 cents, closing at $1.01; Chicago December corn down 2,ic at 4 6c; Minneapolis December wheat down 9c at $1.12; Kansas City December De-cember wheat down 7c at 93 c; yearlings generally steady; feeding, lambs up 15c-25c. Fat ewes down 25c. November 5 Chicago prices: Hogs, top, $2.25; hulk of sales, $7.45-$7.85; medium and gcod beef steers, $G-$11.25; butcher cows and heifers, $3.50-$9.50; feeder steers, $5-$7; light an dmedium weight veal calves, $G-$11.50; fat lambs, $8-$9.25; feeding lambs, $G.75-$8; yearlings, $5.50-$7.75; fat ewes, $3-$5.25. $3-$5.25.
