Mrs. Ella Gledhill of Provo, is spending spend-ing a week here visiting with her mother, Mrs. Mary L. Christensen. A, N. Myrup of Salt Lake, arrived in Gunnison last evening. He was called here by the death of Mrs. A. E. Sorenson. Mr. and Mrs. A. Reigert and Milton Reigert, of Monroe, spent last Sunday in Gunnison as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Basow. J. W. Humphrys, supervisor of the Manti National Forest, and Ed. P. Cox, ranger, were here Wednesday evening from Ephraim to attend the meeting boosters for the road up Twelve Mile canyon. Vernon Sorenson left for Rossette, in Boxelder county, Wednesday morning of this week. He will spend the summer sum-mer there with his father, M. J. Sorenson, Soren-son, assisting the latter in looking rfter his sheep business. Mrs. B. E. Christoffcrson, who spent i some time here as the guest of her i j sister, Mrs. Win. Mrs. Arvillda Sorenson of Redmon, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Christensen this week. Attorney C. M. Edwards, wag in Manti the first days of this week looking look-ing after important legal matters. J. M. Knighton, representing the' South Sanpete school board, attended the Industrial conference held at Salt Lake Friday. W. Harvey Ross, president of the Gunnison Valley Sugar company, with Mrs. Ross, spent several days in Gunnison Gun-nison and the valley this week. Miss Lois Myrup, who has been i attending the high school at Green River, Utah, returned to Gunnison last Monday evening. Miss Myrup will spend some time here with her mother and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ole Peterson, who have been absent in Salt Lake for the past , ten days, returned to Gunnison Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Mr. Peterson was consulting with specialists while Mrs. ! Peterson visited with her mother, Mrs. I Mary Gledhill. The Social Circle club members were the guests at the home of Mrs. C. C. Edmonds Wednesday afternoon of this week. The usual needlecraft work was enjoyed and during the period Mrs. i James Bown gave a reading. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served at five thirty. j |
