Show PRIMA FACES EVIDENCE. Much has been said (by deer hunters) hunt-ers) of the kill they made during the open season which gave the nimrods the privilege of hunting the big game, but not until Wednesday was the editor convinced of the seriousness serious-ness of the assertions. There is one man who furnished positive evidence of killing a two-pronger and that was Clyde C. Edmonds, cashier of ithe Gunnison City National Bank. Mr. Edmonds kindly remembered the i"boss" of the News with a choice l-oast of the venison he brought in on his return from a week's hunt. He with Floyd, William and Jess Bartholomew, Bar-tholomew, Leonard Bown and Merrill Mer-rill Mellor, returned the first of the 'week from the mountains west of John's Valley and the party had exceptional ex-ceptional luck, returning with six fine bucks. Our thanks to Mr. Edmonds. |
