Jones, of Cassia, asking for repairs on county road north of Kelton, read. Clerk instructed in-structed to write to Supervisor of Snowville road district. Petition of Joseph Watkins, and twenty others, asking that the County locate and open up a county road from Collinston station sta-tion to intersect the Cache Valley road which cornea pastElias Davis' ranch and through Beaver Dam, read and referred to Baty and Wilcox. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES. Committeemen Kirk and Blackburn Black-burn reported that change in road at top of Rocky Dugway has been made as ordered by the Court. Found road to Cache Valley in good condition and recommended recom-mended that no change be made for the present. Report adopted. Assessment roll received from Assessor and the rate of taxes for the year 1802 determined as lol-lows: lol-lows: For County taxes, three (3) mills on the dollar; county school taxes, two (2) mills on the dollar, on all taxable property in Box Elder County. The Clerk was instructed to set the amount of lax in the proper column opposite the name of each tax-payer and hand the roll to the Collector; also to give notice that the Court would meet on 28th of July, 1802, to hear complaint com-plaint in regard to the assessed value of any property. Clerk instructed to write to Supt. Calvin in regard to cattle guards on road running cast from Hampton bridge and west from new Call's Fort and Bear River City road. The matter of placing Box Elder Canyon road in repair after completion com-pletion of pipe lines fur city water works and the passage through of the many sheep herds, was amicably settled, each furnishing furnish-ing a portion of the men, but all to be done under Supervisor L. P. Johnson. Judge Kirk and Selectman Blackburn were appointed a committee com-mittee to arrange for water for Court House, jail and lawn and to report at next meeting rates for which city will furnish water.
