T. Henry, the Marysvale druggist, spent several days here this week looking look-ing after his business interests. Mrs. C. A. Carlson and Carl Gortet of Manti, were the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Peterson last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Stewart of Salt Lake, were the guests of Mayor and Mrs. J. W. Jones the early days of this week. Wm. Metcalf, left for Salt Lake City last Monday. He spent several days at the capitol city looking after business matters. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Keller and Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Tuttle, of Manti, spent last Sunday in Gunnison as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Sumner, Mrs. Edna Larson and Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Cluff of Richfield, were the guests of Mr., and Mrs. R. K. Stubbs last Sunday. Mr and Mrs. C. M. Madsen, Mrs. Miles Madsen, Mrs. J. A. Hagan and Miss Christy Madsen spent Wednesday visiting with friends at Richfield and Elsinore. H. S. Kerr Cheif engineer for the Central Utah railroad, and W. H. Gribble, the merchant, have returned from a short business visit to Provo and Salt Lake. Mrs. T. M. Kearns and daughter, Miss Francis Kearns, are at Salt Lake this week as the house guests of Mrs. M. D. Kearns. They will be at the capitol city for ten days or more. Mr. and Mrs., Joe Ferre left for Salt Lake yesterday, expecting, to be absent several days. Mr. Ferre, while in the city, will consult specialists in the hopes of getting relief from an injured leg. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Malmsten, of Mt. Pleasant, were here for a brief visit Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Malmsten, manager for the J. C. Penney company at the Hub City, was just returning from a short business vigit to Richfield. The stork visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sorenson at Mayfield last Tuesday and left a" little baby girl. On the same day at Centerfield a baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Jensen. Everybody at the homes are happy and doing nicely. |
