Edwards and Charles Cook, two well known realty dealers from Santa-Cjiiin, Santa-Cjiiin, spent the early days of the week in Gunnison on business matters. Ira Overfelt, Dr. J. A. Hagan and H. V. Cherry attended a special meeting and bonquet given by Damascus Lodge, No. 10, F. and A. M. at Mt. Pleasant last Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Brundage, and "Billy" Brundage, motored from Salt Scott P. Stewart, the engineer from Provo, was here the early days of the week on oflicial business. ! Mrs. Dully Gates has returned from a ten-day visit to relatives and friends at Benjamin, Provo and other northern j towns. , ' Mrs. Ira Overfelt, Lois and Helen ' Overfelt and Mrs. II. W. Cherry ami ! Wesley Cherry were among the fair visitors at Manti last Saturday. C. II. Christiansen, the well known Centerfield resident, has returned from a brief visit with Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Swalberg at Marysvale. James Bown and Fred Jones were viaitors to Mt. Pleasant last Sunday. They went to the north Sanpete metro- i pilis to meet Mrs. Bown and Miss Glayde Bown. Aymer Peterson, who classes himself as a fisherman, spent several days this week at Fishlake, watching some of the Lake this week and are the house guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Bardsley. They will remain here for a week or ten days. J. V. Fox, and George Fisher, candidates candi-dates respectively for the offices of assessor and sheriff on the Democratic ticket, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Bessey, were here from Manti last Monday. Mr. James Bown and Miss Glayde Bown were visitors to.Mt. Pleasant last Friday and Saturday. While at the northern city Miss Bown underwent an operation for the removal of her tonciU. Her many friends here will be pleased to know that she is recovering nicely from the operation. experts land the big ones. Aymer was accompanied by Richfield friends. While this paper has no authority to announce the fact but the Peterson market, of which Mr. Peterson is manager, man-ager, has no fish for sale, as a result of the recent visit of the manager to the lake. B. T. Montgomery, representing the Illinois Bankers Life Insurance company, comp-any, with headquarters at Salt Lake, spent several days in Gunnison this week visiting with his daughter, Mrs. Conrad Frischknecht. Mr. Montgomery will leave for his home Sunday morning and will be accompanied byMrs. Frischknecht Frischk-necht and her daughter. The latter will visit at the capitol city for a week or ten days. |
