Miss Josie Curtis, in charge of the "mission work in Gunnison for the Presbyterian organization, has had a. htp"h hnnnr rnn Fprrpfl nnnn Vimv through the receipt of a. gold service pin, the gift from the Presbyterian Woman's Home Board at New York City. The service pin is a mark of beauty, being of gold with the seal of the organization ' beautifully engraved en-graved and with the dates 1S88 and 1920. On the back the name of the receiver is inscribed. The service pin is significant in its meaning, as only six of them were awarded in the United States, Miss Curtis being one of the fortunates. The pin is given for a reward of service and only those who have served thirty years or more continuously in the mission field were given one of the pins. Miss Cur-ti3 Cur-ti3 is entering upon her thirty-third year, all of which time has been spent in Utah, the last ten of which have been in Gunnison. |
