Show TO REMAIN AT SARANAC LAKE Wishes of Two Hundred Tubercular Patierfts at Sanitarium Are to Be Complied With. Two hundred former service men. tubercular patients at Snranac Lake, will remain in the sanitarium there according to their wishes and will not be transferror to other government Institutions as originally ordered, as the result of decisive action by the American Legion. An instant protest was registered by the ailing veterans when the order for their transfer came and Richard T. Bell, chief of the service division of the New York state department, who had visited the tmm at Saranac a short while before, took up their case wilh the United Staffs public health service. At the same time John T. Taylor, chairman of tlie national legislation leg-islation committee of the American Logion, took similar 'action aod .the transfer order was rtsdnded. |
