Show Beet Raisers Have Pay Day; Other News From Centerfield (Special Correspondence) Satisfactory progress is being made in getting the beet crop harvested har-vested and practically all of the crop is in or will be by the last of this veek or the first of next. The beets rom Fayette have been moved and those from West View are expected o be cleaned up by tomorrow night. There are yet about 700 tons at Clar-on Clar-on and S00 tons at Redmond, but 3very effort is being put forth to harvest the crop while favorable .veather lasts. Some little delay war occasioned by the recenl storm but yxtra forces have been added and the 'ost time has been made. up. Tomorrow Tomor-row will be pay-day for the bee! growers and checks will be distributed distribut-ed for all beets delivered to Ihe lac-Lory lac-Lory during the month of October. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Beck, who left 'ast Monday on a mission to the Southern stales, have been Hie recipients re-cipients of many "farewells" during the past two weeks. Both Mr. and Mrs. Beck were ardent workers in many of the organizations of the ward and they will be greatly mrssed in the work. The main social event given for the departed missionaries was that held at the meeting house on the 5th inst., when many of their friends turned out (o wish them "God speed."
