Show CENTERFIELD. The number of votes cast at our recent re-cent town election was only 41, the light yote evidently being due to the fact that only one ticket was in the field. Soren Anderson was reinstated for a third term supported by an entire change of councilmen. Mrs. Harriet Higham, who has served faithfully and well as president presi-dent of the local Relief society since Centerfleld ward was first organized twenty years ago just recently resigned re-signed and last Sunday a new set of officers all but the treasurer was Installed In-stalled as follows: President Annie E. Lund Counselors Ida B. Nielsen and Amanda Beck Secretary Geneva Jensen Treasurer Stena Anderson. Following a severe illness of about fifteen days Mrs. Mariann Myrup, relict re-lict of the late Lars C. N. Myrup died Sunday morning last in her sixtieth, year. Mrs. Myrup was born in Wisconsin, Wis-consin, September 5, 1858, the daugh- ter of Hans Jensen and Annie Chris-Jensen. Chris-Jensen. Then residing at Gunnl-son she was married February 15, 1876, to Liars j. in . iwyrup, tne surviving issue of their union being 2 sons and 5 daughters, namely Mrs. Eieanor Met-calf Met-calf of Nevada, Lars Q, Mrs. Annie Dalton, Mrs. Eurania Dack, Mrs. Stella Beck, Mrs. Leah Thompson, and Levi. Decedent was active In the Relief society cause. She was also a kindly mother to her own and a family left by a former wife of her husband's. |
